  Liposuction

  At Lowe Plastic Surgery, we offer liposuction as a single procedure or in combination with other body contouring techniques. Liposuction can slim down localized areas of your body or be performed in combination with male breast reduction, tummy tuck, and neck contouring. During your consultation at our Oklahoma City practice, we will develop an appropriate treatment plan based on your needs. The best candidates have good skin elasticity and a stable body weight. Obese patients are not considered suitable candidates for liposuction as this is not considered a weight loss treatment. Rather, it is intended to enhance one or two areas of the body. Expect some pain, swelling, bruising and temporary numbness. Pain can be managed with prescription medications, but you will likely feel stiff and sore for a few days. A supportive garment should be worn for a few weeks to reduce swelling and help your skin conform to its new shape.
