Specializing in facial procedures such as blepharoplasty, facelift, neck lifts, rhinoplasty, laser treatment, and injectable treatments, Dr. Lowe helps his patients look young and beautiful. Dr. Lowe also performs a large number of breast enhancement and body contouring procedures. His practice is about 80 percent cosmetic surgery and 20 percent reconstructive surgery. With a certified surgical OR facility on site, Dr. Lowe can provide excellent continuity of care, which is a true advantage for his patients at our Oklahoma City plastic surgery office. Education and Background Lowe Plastic Surgery, PLLC is a family practice. Dr. Jim Lowe opened his private practice in August 2006. In 2010, he moved his practice to a new, state-of-the-art facility that allows easy access and parking for patients. His plastic and reconstructive practice is one of the most respected in Oklahoma City. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Jim Lowe attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, earning a B.A. in history and pre-medicine. After earning a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine in 1992, he completed five years of training in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Although he began his training in general surgery, it was plastic surgery that became his passion. He completed the prestigious plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1999 as well as a hand, nerve, and microsurgical fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2000. Continuing Education After completing his medical training, Dr. Lowe joined the faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and was promoted to Assistant Professor of Surgery. In 2002, he received an M.B.A. in health sciences management at Washington University’s Olin School of Business. In 2004, Dr. Lowe became Chief of Cosmetic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. Lowe has continued his involvement in resident education, with clinical research focused on peripheral nerve surgery, potency following prostatectomy, cosmetic surgery, ethnic aging, and optimizing health management and efficiency. He has served on various boards and committees and has presented many papers nationally. Dr. James Lowe has three wonderful children. He loves living in Oklahoma City where he was born and raised. Dr. James Lowe’s nurse manager, Kris, is your direct link to excellent plastic surgery care. She is highly motivated and skilled, with many years of experience working closely with Dr. Lowe. You will see her both at some clinic visits and in the operating room with Dr. Lowe. She understands what is important to patients at every clinical level and is available to answer all clinical questions. She will be with you at every step along the way. Kris is the nurse administrator for Associates Surgery Center and is directly responsible for the facilities high standards and success.

Megan

Dr. James Lowe’s patient coordinator, Megan, will take charge of the administrative parts of your care along with the nurses and other specialist. She will assist you with your insurance needs, schedule your appointments and surgery, and answer any of your questions. She can provide a unique perspective of what you can expect both during and after each procedure. Her candid and warm approach is central to our core philosophy of always placing the “patient first.” She is always available and will do her best to keep you in touch and connected. She also has special training in medical coding and billing. She is well versed with issues related to insurance claims as well as patient care. She is the “go-to” person in the practice for administrative work.

Leslie

Dr. James Lowe's office manager and surgical scrub has been trained extensively in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Care. Leslie has worked for Dr. Lowe for many years and knows how to run and operate Lowe Plastic Surgery. She has many years of experience as a office manager, administrator, & surgical technician. She works closely with Dr. Lowe in clinic and in the operating room. She is available to answer your questions regarding surgery and recovery. Should you have a consultation, she will help guide you through the process. If you have questions about a procedure or clinical regimen, she will be your information resource. She is the “go-to” person in the practice for clinical and surgical care.
