I first developed a love for medicine when I was growing up. Early in my childhood, I heard my mom and her friends talk about their fulfilling and rewarding careers in health care and it was with that, along with my love for science, that made me pursue a career in medicine. I find it really rewarding helping people. I think the most gratifying part of practicing medicine is the ability to make such a positive impact on a patient's quality of life as well as the opportunity to continue to learn and grow throughout your career. I'm very passionate about following the patient throughout their whole journey, starting from the diagnosis to considering different treatment options, to performing the surgery, and then following up on them post-operatively and throughout recovery and being able to see the positive changes from that journey.
